Saturday, December 30, is the time to get clear about those writing intentions for 2024. Let the energy of the New Year and your writing community support you.

There’s nothing like speaking your intention out loud. Better still, it’s great to write it down in front of your fellow writers, put it in an envelope, and send it to yourself. In the first week of 2024, one of the first letters you get will be the one that clearly outlines your writing plan for 2024. Take that letter and pin it to your bulletin board or your vision board.

We’re going to do this together on Saturday. Bring your pens, a piece of paper, an envelope, and your open heart.

This is a swift, impactful 45-minute writing session to jump-start the new year. Some topics to be discussed include:

• Understanding your why. Why do you want to write? Knowing your why can carry you over countless writing hurdles.
• Tips for setting up a writing practice and sticking to it.
• Calling on your higher energy to write.
• Getting out of your own way.
